Temporal Discussion Christmas Special 2025 – The Dunshelm Players Present “All Must Surely Be An Illusion”

We couldn’t resist it forever. It’s been 9 years, hard to believe, but the Dunshelm Players are finally back in action. A completely new, standalone project with no links to any previous work, All must surely be an illusion is essentially a parody of modern society, with a warning about the degree of danger posed by modern computer imagery, as compared with the more basic type Knightmare itself used back in the 1990s.

It features debuts for Jason Karl (who was a dungeoneer in season 2, and later went on to a career as a television presenter), Kim Stewart-Crossley of the Temporal Discussion podcast, Kim Harder (wife of Martin H), Laura Bean, Scott Evans (a dungeoneer in season 3 of Knightmare), and Rea Pearson (a team advisor in season 5).

As ever, the play is not set at Christmas, includes no reference to Christmas whatsoever, and is entirely unrelated to Christmas, and so it will be available to listen to during the Christmas period 2025, as yet another non-festive festive offering.

Nice to bring back an old tradition.
